The resting screen: Sky band in Newsreader
Decided and built into the real app (not on the tablet yet): a dashed line marks sunset or sunrise in the curve (no time), the current weather beside the clock, "Feels 46°", no high and low, no sunset label, and in landscape the curve fills the column. Newsreader and Figtree are stored with the app, so the wall never waits on Google for fonts. The screen below is the prototype; the real one matches it.
What a tap opens: the new dashboard layout
Done from your notes: under the 2-week grid, three columns: Coming up, Notes, Lists. Lists shows each list's name and what's left (e.g. "Groceries · 6 left"). A tap opens the list in a sheet, where items get checked off. These pictures are the real app with the fake family. It is not on your tablet yet.
New since your last notes: an Add row in an opened list (commas add several); All on the Notes card opens every note; and a Year button in the top bar: all 12 months on one screen, each day colored by type: holiday (federal and Christian, one group), holiday that's a work day (Columbus Day, striped), birthday, event. A holiday with plans gets a teal bar. Tap a day to see what's on it.
The top bar is one short row (date, time and weather on one line, smaller buttons), and the message banner is one line with who sent it beside it. That gave each calendar row about 25px more. In landscape the grid takes about two thirds of the height, so every day shows its events even with a message pinned.
Screen moments in the ad
Already ticked: the six you picked last time. Each takes about 4 to 5 seconds, and Gemini adds the kitchen shots and the end card around them. Preview shows the moment in the resting screen above, using the version you have selected there.
