The resting screen's weather
You asked for one block for now and today, no line chart, and a sharper look. All three versions have that block, drawn icons instead of emoji, and Fraunces for the clock and big numbers. Only the forecast below the block differs.

What a tap opens: the new dashboard layout
Built the way you asked: the 2-week grid on top, Coming up top-left, Notes bottom-left, Lists down the right. These pictures are the real app with the fake family. It is not on your tablet yet.
One change since you picked it: in landscape the grid now takes about two thirds of the height. With the message pinned, an even split left each day room for one event, so busy days showed "+2 more". Now every day shows its events. The trade-off is that Lists and Notes show fewer lines before you scroll them.
